Fun Kids Chinese is led by Teacher Regine Toh, the creator of the WingSpan™ Methodology.

Regine holds a Master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Nanyang Technological University / National Institute of Education (Singapore).

Over the years, she has designed and delivered numerous bilingual learning programmes for both children and adults. Her work focuses on one core question:

How can children truly understand Chinese rather than simply memorise it?

Drawing from both educational research and classroom experience, Regine developed the WingSpan™ learning system: A structured approach that helps students gradually build confidence in the Chinese language through clear explanations using English as a scaffolding language, meaningful practice, and engaging activities.

Her goal is simple:

To help children experience Chinese not as a stressful subject, but as a language they can understand, use, and enjoy.

My daughter, Ariel, started her Chinese lessons with Teacher Regine in 2020 Dec. It was through a close friend's recommendation and there was no turning back. No regrets at all.

Every week, Ariel is always looking forward to her lessons. The different and interesting ways of engaging Ariel during each lesson really amaze me. Little Andre always look forward to his weekly Chinese lesson as it is very fun and interactive! Teacher Regine is very patient , engaging and Super friendly. She uses different methods to inspire Little Andre to love Chinese , including songs, story books and interesting class activities.

The chapter by chapter online resources are useful for reinforcing Chinese learning for my boy who is Primary 1 this year.

Quizzes and game puzzles make it more fun and the lists and flashcards include English, which makes it easier to understand and remember.
